Small island. Easy tender process to and from. We did our own thing - walked to Jinek Bay - paid about AUD15 to snorkel. Then walked to the cave with the freshwater pool. Also about AUD15 to get in - eventful, challenging but fun walk at a steep angle down through a ‘forest’ to get there. Great to jump into the pool in the dark cave at the bottom.

There's nothing to do other than go for a walk up the hill to the church it's not a bad walk and there's a great view of the ship or go for a swim in the clear water

The snorkelling at Jinek Bay is amazing. It is a marine park so you need a pass to swim there. They only allow 100 people in the water so buy your pass early.

It's a beautiful island where you can have a nice swim. The locals are very friendly. The walk upto the church on the hill has a explicit view of the ocean with the cruise ship there and the other church is beautiful. Saw a coconut crab. Definately doing a tour next time I go

Don't forget reef shoes!! Snorkel at Jinek Bay for $15AUD or $10USD, gives you access all day. Walk up to Norte Dam Cathedral and see the beautiful lookout of Lifou.

Great little Island to visit. Friendly locals, but not much to do if you're not into snorkeling/beach/swimming. Beautiful cafe on the hill with a stunning view of the beach (and ship in the distance). Tour was definitely a highlight.

Least favourite place we did the Polynesian tour through the ship which included a cooking demonstration and a visit to one of their parliament huts need reef shoes as beaches are all coral and rocky we hired a kayak and snorkelled but you need to be a strong swimmer as the best spots are quite a distance from shore we did see green sea turtles 🐢 not much shade on beach 🏝

Hiked to the Church for the view of the Ship in the Bay. It was very hot but worth it. Then went snorkelling at Jokin bay - heaps of fish & easy access.
