We rented a car with friends and went to wineries in the Chilean wine country. It was great.

No complaints about embarkation at this port. Staff were helpful, process was quick. Only downside is the distance from Santiago/airport, so definitely plan on flying in at least a day ahead.

Just walked the boardwalk and looked at the vendor tents and then watched the fishermen clean their fish throwing the scraps to pelicans and sea lions.

We stayed at San Antonio for few days and then moved to Valparaiso port

This was the closest port for Santiago. We chose not to go there. Instead, visited Valparaiso. Glad we did. It's a colourful, vibrant city.
