The Quirigu ride is long and boring. It's good history but not for young kids.

It rained buckets. We only went to the shopping area off the boat. Wish I would have bought more coffee and chocolate. Enjoyed the local entertainment

If you're not into ruins and Mayan sites, this port provides very little.

At first, being docked in a shipping yard is not very appealing. We discovered the poor side of town with a local excursion. Not very impressed. Any site seeing takes a lot of time.

Road infrastructure is very poor and over capacity with all of the container commercial road traffic. This caused extensive delays going to and returning from land package.
