We took an excursion to a ranch on Lake Nicaragua and the town of Rivas. Winds slowed the Tenders so our excursion departure was delayed. However the tour itself was very relaxing and the guide (Rudolfo) was very good.

BEAUTIFULL place tooked a privated tour to Granada and Catarina very beautifull i recomended the tour guide excellent Reynaldo Romero you could contact him at corintotour@outlook.com excellent tour guide his English is very good.

we did not do an excursion here - just tendered into town & were pleasantly surprised. We found the city to be quite nice & we found a craft brewhouse here (Nica Beer)

We went on an excursion through Princess, including an active volcano, where we were able to look into the caldera that was spewing smoke. We also went to a street market where we were able to bargain for souvenirs, as well as a historic town square and museum that was formerly a convent. Our tour guide, Fito was outstanding. However, Nicaragua is a police-state, socialist dictatorship, which was uncomfortable. There is severe poverty in this country which should have adequate natural resources to thrive. Sadly, we saw many children begging in the streets.
