oh my.... There were taxis to take me to the shops. We only had two hours, and the shops were only three blocks away. Not sure why we stopped there.

This is a very industrial port. Booked the Panama treasures excursion. The write up was a little misleading. The ruins mentioned consists of a bridge (small) and a small building. I thought it would be bigger. The Reposa Factory was very interesting. The guide was delightful and knowledgeable. The information does mention the travel time was one and a half hours one way. Please note that if there is any traffic, or an accident it will take more time.

We took the boat ride to look at local fauna. We realize the animals cannot show up on demand but in hind site, we wouldn't recommend this excursion. There was too much time sailing around, stopping in coves, searching for animals with little results. The guide was not miked and we couldn't hear what she was saying.

My least favorite port to walk off ship and explore. Our excursion was to the new locks (very interesting) and a drive by of old locks.
