Booked " Wonders of Engineering: Panama Canal Locks and Calebra Cut". Outstanding tour starting with bus to rendezvous with ferry that holds 350 passengers. The ferry started in about the middle of the canal and traversed 3 locks ending up at the Pacific Ocean. Accompanied by a gigantic car carrier, we entered 3 separate locks and able to reach out and touch the canal wall. Absolutely the highlight of the entire trip. Bucket list item checked!

This is a highly industrialized port with lots of poverty. Either stay on board or do an excursion. Don't walk around the city on your own. The tour of the canal lock is interesting. The rainforest tour was disappointingly lacking in critters. It rained.

We did the grand tour, boat ride in the rain forest saw sloths, monkeys and the guide was awesome, however once we realized that we had a police escort there and back with one riding in our bus were got a bit worried about our safety and what did we get ourselves into but it was a great time

I did an excursion to Gamboa to see monkeys, sloths & the Panama Canal. The tour was excellent, but required a 1 1/2 hour bus ride each way and around 2 hours on the water.

SKETCHY. Even one of the cops said it was not safe to venture too far out

Just went shopping in a little mall. Had lunch at a local restaurant- service took forever. Had to threaten to leave to get our food. Not MSC’s fault .
