Favourite excursion! Just my husband and I on pedicabs with a great guide through one of the local villages. Relaxed pace with plenty of opportunities to see and experience local crafts, shops etc.

We did a tour of temples, a school, a market, a village and many other places. It was a great tour. The country is really dirty with rubbish.

City offers much for the inquisitive visitor: beautiful and uncrowned beaches, contemporary Buddhist temples, historic Chan monuments, busy markets. Our excursion guide introduced us to her mother who runs a candy and sweets shop in the major marketplace.

A very dynamic town and much neater and cleaner than many Vietnamese cities. The vendors are more relaxed and the beach is more like a Mediterranean resort than an Asian one. I wouldn't mind spending a few days there.

Again the locals were very insistent on getting a sale, but it was a lovely stop.

We did a beach day at this port. It was fine until the current changed and trash started to wash up on shore. There was a restaurant and bar right there and the food was great!
