This was where we visited the Viking River Cruise School. The children were so welcoming and performed traditional dances.

We visited and local school sponsored by Viking. The children put on a charming performance for us, and we got to sit in on a class and meet third graders. they were adorable!

We did not go to the Viking school because it was Sunday during the holiday. The students came to the boat. I would have enjoyed seeing the city with or without a tour guide.

We were supposed to do two tours (one to a school) but because school wasn't in session, they brought the children on board where they did an amazing dance recital. These children, grades 1 through 3 remembered every step of their routines! They did several dances (both boys and girls) and for their last dance chose tourists to dance to "If you're happy and you know it". I was lucky to be chosen by a little girl to dance with her. It was heart warming. Afterwards we were taken on a tour of the Ancient City Wall of Jingzhou, which was very interesting.
