Also you will take a water shuttle from the ship to the port, you will have to pick boarding numbers the day before on deck 5 in front of the coffee shop between 12 and 4. First come first serve, so if you want off early be there at noon to get your numbers. If I remember correctly the numbers go up to 60, we had 32 and got off at noon. We arrived there at 9, which actually worked out. We ate breakfast and lunch before getting off, saving us money or should I say it allowed me wife to have more money to shop.

Beautiful place, but you can't swim in the ocean here because of the currents. We took a short sailing trip and saw whales and their famous arch then went into town on our own. Very safe and folks are friendly.

If you’re looking for a day at the beach, get a glass-bottom boat tour (NOT through Carnival). It cost us $15 a person to get a water tour of Cabo, and get dropped off at Medano Beach for a few house, AND brought back. :) They will all be on the dock vying for your business.

This is a busy port. We did do the catamaran excursion out to the arch and it was great. We were able to actually witness a mother and baby whale playing in the water.
