Beautiful, a lot of things to do. Pearl Harbor, Luau shows, Beaches, Diamond Head, and more.

We did not do an excursion through the cruise in Honolulu. We walked from our hotel, that Norwegian kindly set up for us, to Diamond Head Crater and a local Farmer's Market. It was quite the hike, but well worth it! You get a lovey view of Honolulu from the top of the crater.

I liked that we had extra time to visit this island and we actually did the Germaine's Luau for our later in the day excursion. This allowed us to spend the entire day doing what we wanted and end it with the luau from 4-11 pm.

We hired a Lyft to and from the Pearl Harbor Memorial, and took a private tour offered to veterans and active-duty military and their families.

Did a trip to Pearl Harbor, went to Burgers in Paradise, loved Waikiki Beach, shopping, locals, sunsets. 😎😎 was surprised that there were no screens in the restaurants.

I’m not holding my displeasure with Carnival against this amazing place! Yes it is an industrial port but that was ok We took the overpriced Carnival shuttle to Pearl Harbor after they last minute cancelled our excursion Pearl Harbor was a very powerful and humbling place. While we didn’t get to go out to the Arizona, we did the Heart of Missouri tour of Mighty MO. It was great...lots of walking and steep stairs so dress appropriately:) Then we went to a Luau at Germaine’s. This was def an overpriced, overdone version but being on a cruise, I didn’t want to risk not doing a Carnival sponsored one. Food was good - enjoyed seeing the Kahlua pig and the dancers were great. They had a lot of audience participation which I did not enjoy. You also sit at rows on picnic tables which can make it difficult to see. The dancers do try to perform to the sides but it still can be hard to see. Also people stand up and block views in order to take their pictures
