The city was OK but severely overpopulated Saw Pearl Harbor and upset to find out that a year later the memorial still has not been fixed

Pearl Harbor was a disappointment. They only take you out by boat close to the Arizona but not very close so you could not see it in the water. The Missouri was very good

Did a (non-Princess) excursion through Island Watersports Hawaii of underwater scooters. It was a blast, even though the water was cool! I would highly recommend it! In the evening, we went to Germaine’s Luau. It was a lot of fun - music, dancing & great food.

I am being petty but carnival cancelled our excursion one week before we left. We had to scramble for a shuttle to Pearl Harbor, and carnival charged us 35 bucks a person for that shuttle. Make sure you are not here on Pearl Harbor day as Carnival will cancel your excursion. Also don’t waste your time or money on a luau the food was disappointing and the show was eh. The cost for 2 people and exhorbidant 300 bucks. On the positive Pearl Harbor is great and the highlight of Honolulu. Oh forgot to say this is an industrial port so no nagging locals as soon at you get off the ship

We spent day in town. Just took Hilo Hattie free shuttle, walked to beach and rode trolley around down and then Germaine’s Loua that night

We rented a vehicle here for under $80, for the 4 of us, with unlimited mileage and toured quite a bit seeing more than one excursion. Had been to Hawaii severL times, so knew where to go. Easy to drive around the island.
