Rented a car a drove around the island. We really enjoyed the food trucks, the ocean and watching the surfers on the north shore.

We spent the first and last day in Oahu. On the last day we did a Call of Duty tour of Pearl Harbor and Honolulu through Hoku tours. We really enjoyed it!

Love this port. Did a Segway Tour in Waikiki that took us to Diamond Head and along the Waikiki Beach. Also the Hop on-Hop off buses are great

Big city feel for sure until you get out of the congestion. Spent $50(for convienience we purchased ticket thru cruise ship excursion but you can just buy directly from company for about $5 less) and got a day pass for all lines on the Waikiki Trolley. Bus came right to port to pick us up. We did Blue Line- Panoramic Coastline which was beautiful and our favourite. Also did Green line- Scenic Diamondhead which we also enjoyed and finished day with Red Line because that one took you back to ship. Was our least favourite though. Evening entertainment was Germaine’s Luau. Long waits for buses as 400+people from ship had booked same excursion. Suggest getting into line long before the suggested 4pm call time so you can get onto first buses to leave. You will have time to explore Germaine’s while waiting for other buses to arrive. Long lines to get back onto ship upon return as all buses arrive back about the same time.

We visited Pearl Harbor and Honolulu. The Pearl is humbling. We were there on December 8 so many of the wreaths were still in place from the previous day's memorial.

a great city. we toured the island as usual ending up on the north shore sunset beach and spent the afternoon watching the surfers (great stuff). also visited the University Of Hawaii.....beautiful tropical campus and Diamond Head (overrun with tourists and locals running/walking---not much parking). Traffic in Honolulu matches LA and MIAMI for insane drivers and parking lot throughways. But there's always great POKE right around the corner.

No excursion, but stayed in a beachfront hotel prior to cruising. Super fireworks Friday nights on Waikiki Beach. Very busy “big” city.
