Had booked an Introduction to Scuba tour through ShoreFox for this port, but it was cancelled due to possible stormy weather. My husband really enjoyed the Princess zip line tour here.

We loved Hilo. We took the excursion to volcno nat park. the bus driver was very good he gave us an excelent tour of Hilo and the park .

we rented a car and drove to the thermal pool and tidepools nearby. The best snorkeling spot we found. Up close colorful fish and calm water.

Enjoyed our visit to the volcano and were lucky to see lava. The Nani Mau gardens gave us an opportunity to see the beautiful flowers, plants and trees up close and take pictures. We really liked seeing the Mauna Loa Nut operations.

Would rather have visited Kona side, but Hilo was fine. There needs to be a shuttle for passengers to get to the Hoppa On... Ride. A long walk for the majority of your customers, old folks like me. I had no issue, but it was a long hike to the station.

This is an industrial port, and the excursion pick up is in he terminal also no nagging locals. We went on a waterfalls excursion and it was great. We also saw lava tubes, and went to a coffee farm. Afterwards we took a taxi from the port to the downtown, and ate at Moe’s Fish and Chips. The best fish and chips we have ever had. The Onno was delicious.
