Beautiful in the volcano park. We rented a car and followed the road to the ocean and saw where the lava flowed into the ocean in the past. Not an active volcano. We stood on old lava and took pictures on this island.

Did hop on hop off bus to Rainbow falls $20pp , then downtown & market , & onto the lovely park they have , you could have went on to the beach but we came back to the ship .

Awesome place. I missed out on the kayaking part due to unforeseen circumstances that occurred before I left for Hawaii but my travel buddy enjoyed it though.

In Hilo, we did the Helicopter tour to see the volcano. After this, we did the hoop on-off which by the way is very basic and can be done super fast as there not that much to do or see in our opinion. And basically this is it.
