we stayed 3 days in Venice and that was more than enough time. A lot of walking and with elderly people it can get a little rough. The food in Venice was just OK but there was so many nice shops to choose from.

Love it love it love it That being said the main tourist area (the square) way too many people in one spot. We came a few days early and stayed in a quaint hotel a few streets away. The real Venice. Quiet Quiet local and just magical If you only have a day in port I would skip the touristy area and walk a few streets over you won’t regret it

Our favorite. I had bought vaporetti tickets before we went on trip plus the people mover tickets. Easy to redeem and used. Able to go to Murano and all Grand Canal in the tickets. Only paid 20 euros Make sure you go to St Marks Square and the palace. The palace is well worth the price
