The dock is right in Old Town. You can walk everywhere.

I took the Jerez de la Frontera (sherry manufacturer) bus tour - ok, not overwhelming, lots of waiting around before taking off and again before driving back. Had a better time walking around town after the tour - came across the birth house of composer de Falla, charming plazas etc. - a nice typical Spanish town.

Cadiz is a nice city to view all of the different cultures that took over this area centuries ago. We had a very nice tour.

We visited the white houses at the village on the hill. This was very memorable.

Lots of very beautiful buildings and shops to see. An easy walk from the port. I found myself taking tons of photos of the great architecture while my wife did her shopping. Great places to grab some food and drinks at reasonable prices.
