This stop was changed to Le Harve. We took a tour to Paris, but the city is so under construction for the Olympics that it was hard to get around to see things. Could not get near the Eiffel Tower.

Weather was nice. You can walk straight off the boat here. Took a nice walk up to the town and back.

We did not do an excursion because of the cost and because they did not interest us. The port it's self was ugly. As with most of them, they are shipping yards. This is also why they offer a shuttle bus. However they charge for the shuttle bus, 14euro/person. Instead we got an Uber for 12 euro total. There wasn't anything to see or do in the town it's self.

Old time port experience. Depart on a gangway from deck 5 into the old port terminal with wooden and brass fixtures and a slideshow from turn of the century. Nice vibe. Easy walk to town. Great French feel. Wonderful lunch of Moules Normandy with cream and herbs and frites. Hard cider and Muscadet well priced. Ate at one of the places right on the main drag. Nice shopping with genuine French clothing stores and a fromagerie. She sliced my saucisson for me too. We visited the Cite de la Mer on our way back to the boat. The museum is in a historical museum. Had a titanic exhibit small aquarium and a decommissioned submarine to walk through.

Can only comment on La Ceté Del A Mer, Titanic museum/oceanarium/submarine museum, which I can honestly say, probably the one of best museum's I've ever been in, cruise lines won't tell you about it, as it's 2 minutes away from ships berth.

A 15 mins walk to town. Will be better when the pedestrianization is completed
