Loved the city. Compact and beautiful. Very expensive however. Great restaurants (ate at the Lydmar hotel, the Sturehof, and the Gondolen). Spent extra time here.

The city was nice, but there was not much time, as the ship arrived 7:00 am, and departed 1:00 pm. There was easy access from the ship to the city.

Cancelled ship excursion and opted to visit sites on our own. Enjoyed VASA Museum the most. Watched changing of the guard at Stortorget in Gamla Stan. Weather was rainy so we took Hop-on Hop-off bus around town. Visited flea market in Market Square. Enjoyed architecture and Stockholm is worth a return visit.

We dock at the port of Stadsgarden, a walking distance of about 2.5 km following the blue line to get to the old city center. We took the excursion: Stockhollm's Waterways Cruise, which consists of a boat tour on the canals, with a guide. Nice excursion!

Ok. We saw some famous naked statue park there and drank two vodkas in an ice bar, parkas and gloves provided. Pretty cool, actually pretty cold!

Plenty to see and do. Hop on off bus is excellent for sightseeing. The Vasa Museum is worth going to and the HOHO bus stops outside.
