Not quite sure about Stavanger. Neither a hit or a miss but whatever you think you have to check out the old town - beautiful!

Lysefjord - Pulpit Rock cruise. Disappointing only because of a very poor guide.

Had been before and walked around the old town so decided to do a trip this time. We did the boat trip to the Pulpit rock. Great boat trip but rock rather underwhelming. Our guide Bent was very good and knowledgeable.

A lovely small harbour town with a short walk to the shops. Plenty of shops, cafes, bars

Lovely little town, some nice shops and just a great way to spend a few hours onshore. I bought a coat which made me happy. I am easily pleased.

Enjoyable as well

A great day in Stavanger, I did the Pulpit Rock cruise excursion and thoroughly enjoyed it, stunning scenery and magical waterfalls. Then a wander around the town before boarding ship again.

Loved it. Tour was uninteresting. Town was fun.
