It was very cold in the 40s. Norwegian had already change the time of arrival for this port and as we were on the river to get to the port they tell us due to traffic that we will arrive later. We missed out on our tour guide giving us the Beatles tour but a few of us went to the red light district where the Beatles used to play and saw their plaza. The next day since it was sprinkling we went to the miniature wonderland which was way more amazing than anything we could had expected.

It was our first visit to Hamburg and I didn't really like it. It felt like concrete city with too many people and lacked character (aware it was destroyed during WW2 bombings). We went to Miniature Wunderland which is a model railway exhibition set in the landscape of different countries. It was fantastic with quirky features like water skiing kangaroos and scuba diving cows. The cafe and gift shop were reasonably priced too and the toilets spotless.

A mixed bag.The Church of St. Nicholas is well worth a visit. The Reeperbahm district was certainly an experience. Probably wouldn't visit Hamburg again.

We got the Princess shuttle at $16 each, was worth it to get into the city. Loads of interesting points here, too many to list.

Why are there no excursions? Transfers? Or anything. Would be nice to see considerations of where to go from Hamburg, and how to get there? There. Met minimum.
