Went to Lubbock with Princess tours a very interesting old city. The tour of the brewery was excellent too.

Visit the parks in town and definitely go to the miniature wunderland!

The Queen Mary 2 usually arrives in Hamburg in the morning. Plan on getting up a little early to enjoy coffee on your balcony. As you cruise up the river (how a ship the size of the QM2 makes it is beyond me!), the banks of the river are crowded with with Germans welcoming the ship into port.

Easy to disembark, caught the local bus from across the road, hop on hop off route 111 which went to the centre of Hamburg again only a few euros. We visited minitur wonderland, which is the largest model village in the world and well worth a visit but its popular and will take quite a few hours to get around too.

Did not like Hamburg - graffiti all over and people are not very friendly towards Americans. That's my take. The Hafen City part was nice and we saw an open air concert. We really enjoyed the Miniatur Wurld exhibit.

Excursion awful , pricey and free shuttle would have given us longer in town with better experience.
