The port and all shops and restaurants are closed on Sundays. Makes no sense to bring 6,000 passengers to a port with nothing for them to do or experience

Wsn't a fan of hamburg it was all too modern ,Big buildings ect.. Because of the amount of time you have its hard to get deep into Germany to find things to do,, where you get dropped off is right in the town centre.. Not much to see or do.. If there was more time then maybe my mind could have been changed.

We started 2 of our cruises at the new Hamburg cruise port. It's really big and modern but unfortunately no normal bus rides there, so you have to take a taxi or the shuttle service

Port was clean and baggage handled efficiently. If you’re taking a cab after your cruise, be prepared for a very very long wait. Sit back relax and wait your turn.
