We bought the Hamburg card online after we docked and used the ferry to go into town and then took a bus to miniature Wunderland. Spend several hours being amazed by model trains etc. Also visited St. Michael's church (up the tower to have a nice view of Hamburg), visited some Christmas markets, shops and the tunnel under the Elbe. Wonderful day.

The city itself I was not very fond off. Ended up visiting one mall for food and rest of day walking around miniature wonderland which be warned is massive and will take hours to do if you stop and watch all displays. Recommend booking in advance for this.

Another beautiful port!! Fun fact: the actual port of Hamburg is 70 miles from sea and takes a good few hours to get out of the port 👌 but it has lots of beautiful architecture. Would recommend to anyone 😍

Took a Private Tour in Hamburg with Big Black Car Tours. Awesome, knowledgeable english speaking guide. Picked us up as we disembarked at the end of our cruise, took our luggage on the 3 hour tour, and then dropped us off at our hotel. Highly recommend.

We were docked at fishing side so we paid for the cruise company’s coach €16 per adult for a 5 minutes drive. Had a lovely wonder around the lovely shops and coffee bars for a few hours then headed back to ship.

Nice town. Easy shuttle from the airport. Very clean and safe. The food and beer was very good and there was alot of outside dinning. We used the hop on hop off bus to get around. Over all a nice time we stayed at the Hamburg Marriott pre cruise.

Absolutely Nothing Wrong With It!!! There was a Christmas tree in a middle and the port was very modern. Very enjoyable cruise port!! Also a chip shop just outside!!
