Very expensive. We did 3 nights pre and post cruise went one afternoon to Hard Rock for lunch and wow what a surprise, we paid $50.00 yes, US dollars for 1 nachos appetizer, 1 onion ring appetizer and 1 ginger ale. Our friend paid $80.00 US dollars for two bloody, and one nacho appetizer. That was the end of Hard Rock Café for us.

First, skip a ship excursion. Copenhagen is easily walked from the ship. Plus bikes are free to use in this city everywhere so grab one and bike around the city. The Mermaid is right near where the ship docks. Walk along the water and the canals.

We spent four days total after the cruise. Be careful of pickpockets. I caught a guy on the metro unzipping my wife's purse. Five or ten seconds more and she would have lost her iphone, money and her credit card.

We booked a pre-trip hotel stay with NCL at the Tivoli Hotel. The transfer to the port from the hotel went well. Overall, the cost was pretty high considering what we got. In the future, I'll book my own hotel and just use a taxi. Taxi fare was about $45 from CPH to Tivoli Hotel.
