Love this place, bought a shuttle ticket for $20 each then found there was a hop on hop bus for only $5 more. Hell of a queue for the shuttle back, bit of a walk to the little mermaid if you walk from the shuttle, hop on bus takes you to it. Some lovely beers in the main centre.

Tivoli Gardens is more of an amusement park than a garden. Still interesting, but not the best use of limited time. The canal cruise was enjoyable.

It was a holiday while we were there. Most places were closed. Shuttle bus location not identified well.

This was an enjoyable town as well. We booked a free walking tour on our own and had an entertaining guide for that. We each paid $20 for an out and back shuttle bus into town from the cruise ship, but on any other day we could have managed to walk into town. We didn't want to cut into our time town and had to get to our meeting point for the walking tour at 11am. We didn't bother with the Little Mermaid statue as reviewers had said it wasn't worth it and our shuttle bus driver and other passengers confirmed the same.

Highly recommend Tivoli gardens, makes for a wonderful day out. Beautiful sights hidden inside the city and right near the central train station. Also visited the little mermaid... couldn’t get close as was too busy. Highlight was the man selling hot chocolate!

We stayed in Copenhagen and took the hop on/hop off greyline bus for two nights prior to the sailing as no excursion was available.

Pick pockets everywhere. Lost our money and credit cards with no police anywhere. Bus traffic was gridlock
