Interesting city with lots of things to see. Great fish and chips. HAL bus to the center was 15 dollars each (most cruise companies provide free shuttles according to the locals). We opted for a local bus and walking.

We did not berth in our originally allocated place due to the wind but got a berth the other side of the river (more industrial) but the transport (both for trips and the shuttle bus) were diverted very quickly for us. We got the shuttle bus into town (city hall) and purchased some tickets for the Hop on Hop off bus which are just around the corner from the drop off point, did the 90 min tour then went into town shopping and found some very nice things to eat in the market (depend what day you go so check). A vibrant city with lots to discover.

Again a shuttle or excursion needed, but we’ll worth it. We spent the bulk of our time at the Titanic museum. A must see. Excursion here not available from the ship ( we booked our on online months in advance)…walk ups could not always get in due to timed admissions.

Loved it. Lots of history, pain and turmoil. Also lots of hope for a brighter future. Don’t let a troubled past turn you off. The people are great, Belfast is a beautiful town. A trip to The Peacewall is a must. Lots of good pubs too.

Did HOHO and learned a ton of information regarding the troubles. Had a Guinness at the Crown Bar and wandered around the city.

We booked an excursion with United Cruises to go to the Giants Causeway. I highly recommend this excursion. Northern Ireland is beautiful.
