Once again our excursion was canceled at the last minute and the only option available was Florence on our own. The bus drove us to Florence and let us do our own thing for six hours. Our guide was great. We went to Pisa the second day and it was fabulous, especially our guides.

The guide insisted we stay the whole allotted time even though most shops were closed for the season.
