Be aware that transportation from the ship area to the outside area is public!!! Therefore, if you are taking an excursion with a different company and the Excursion Cruise Director from Norwegian does not allow you to get into the public bus, don't pay any attention to her!!!

Unless you pay extra to walk to the Acropolis, Athens isn't much to see.

Pack your umbrella for shade if you go in summer. It was 113F the day we were there. The Parthenon and Acropolis are crowded but worth seeing.
