Great stop to see both the David in Florence and see the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because an issue I had with an outside company for an excursion. They waited 45 minutes past the start time for stragglers. This caused us to lose 45 minutes in Florence which SUCKED because Florence was beautiful!!! Also another thing to note is you must take a shuttle to the city if you don’t have a NCL excursion booked. This shuttle costs but once we got off the ship we learned they didn’t take card. Glad I had cash but a lot of people were pissed!!

did a Pisa excursion. very nice other than the bus parking was a distance from the site and a workout for a handicapped person

Been to Tuscany before so enjoyed excursion to Volterra and Andrea Bocelli’s restaurant for wine tasting, meal, and concert.

You cannot walk from the ship so if you weren't on an excursion the only option was to pay for the shuttle bus or take a cab. They only had certain cabs so if you weren't ride sharing you it was pricey for a cab. We paid 25 euro for the 2 of us to go to the local train station. Then we only had to pay a small amount each to take the train to Pisa. Cabs from there were easy & less expensive and it was easy to walk from the Leaning Tower back to the train.

Ugh. We were supposed to spend 2 days in La Spezia when we booked this cruise as we all looked forward to hiking the Cinque Terre but Celebrity changed the port to 2 days in Livorno on us without informing us of the change. If we had known of the change we would have cancelled this booking but by the time we learned of the change we had already purchased our plane and train tickets. I am very, very angry about this and Celebrity said there wasn't anything they could do about it- no compensation, no onboard credits, etc.

This was our second NCL tour and it was nice. Another large group on a big bus. But we went to a medieval city (lots of stairs) and a winery for lunch and had a very nice day.
