Santorini was very touristy and the most crowded port we visited. I would not want to be here in high season. Very expensive island. My wife and I least liked this island the most. Spoke to some locals in Athens who agreed with our assertion on Santorini. Visited Thira, Oia and Akrotiri Archaeological site. Toured on my own. Hiked the caldera from Thira Town to Oia. Also visited the Museum of Prehistoric Thira before going to the ancient ruins of Akrotiri.

Island is very arid, white buildings with blue roofs is very nice. Took excursion but guide was only average

The overall views, the church was nice. The cable cars were a long wait to return down to the tenders. Next time I'll walk down the donkey trail. It's faster and cheaper but you gotta watch your step since the donkeys also use the same trail and I do mean use it.

Incredible place to visit. Will be back. Cable Car BACK down from Thira to ship took about 45 minutes, so plan ahead for getting back. Long line, but can't be helped.
