We did a the wine and Oia trip offered but NCL. We had to wait about an hour in the Stardust theater until out group was called to board our tender. We went to a winery. You only have 30 minutes there. They don't tell you anything about wine or the wine making process. You can have three glasses and they had some cheese and cracker and olives. They also had a gift shop to buy their wine. We then went to Oia and had about 1hour and 30 minutes. We walked around and shopped. It is a beautiful city. Then back on the bus and you are dropped in Fira where the cable cars are. We had about two hours here. We were able to shop and eat a dinner and watch the sunset. As long as you are in line for the cable cars by 9 the ship won't leave you. There is a long line so it did make us feel better knowing that.

Amazing port no issues with taking the tram down I was worried since there was so many negative reviews. We waited about 15 minutes

It takes at least 1 hour to get from the boat to the port... Up the cable car.... And to the main area of Santorini... And on the way back... The cable car lines are ridiculous! At least an hour to two to get back to the boat. So plan that into your schedule. Oh... But you HAVE to visit the black or red sand beaches... Just to say you were there!

Perhaps the best stop. Take a tender from the ship to the dock where you can buy a ticket for the cable car ride to the top. Once there, take a look at the spectacular view. It has a village feel and is very well kept. Lots of tourist shops and restaurants, though. Be aware that the line for the cable car ride back down can be very long. We headed back down at about 12:30. It took about 20 minutes from standing at the end of the line to back onboard the ship. Others complained that it took them a long time in line as they left in the late afternoon. But definitely get off the ship for this.
