4 ships is way to much for this port. Couldn't hardly do anything here.

In a wheelchair tendering was a breeze for my wife. The cable car was an easy adventure as they were very helpful in getting to the top. Great shopping. Wife I’ve did it with the shopping. Great food in the Greek cafe in town. People were so helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to return

We did the volcano and hot springs trip, which was excellent. Superb guide, efficient transfer by tender, and boat. We got back from that and still had about 6 hours to explore Fira. Absolutely stunning location, with interesting shops and narrow streets, even if they were a little overcrowded with tourists just like us!

Beautiful white and blue place - just as advertised... the only mistake we made was going down on foot (we took a cable car up) - it takes about an hour and a half to get down as you have to watch every little step you take (due to donkey poo), not to mention dodging donkeys on way up or down, as they really don't care where they are going. My daughter almost got ran over! It's also very sad watching exhausted donkeys going up and down in that heat (and we didn't see one bucket of water available to them for the whole journey down!!!) - if you can avoid it, do. It's not for the emotional crowd :'(

We took the bus excursion to Oia and Thira. Next visit we will get tickets ahead of time for the cable car up to Thira and do more exploring there as we had very little time in Oia with the traffic jam, the drive and the crowds.
