Very crowded, and the excursion was a big disappointment. Very short time was given at each place.

I highly recommend booking a NCL excursion for earlier debarkation. But then go up to Fira and enjoy. We walked the steps up and down. It is very doable if you can navigate stairs and are in good health.

Tourist trap. The photos you see that are "classic Santorini" are from the same 2 or 3 spots. Reaching the island from the cruise ship was extremely abysmal. On our tender on the way back to the ship, we met a family. The husband of that family accurately described Santorini as the "5th Circle of Hell." That pretty much sums it up for me.
