Rent a car and go to the little visited mountains on the far side of the island...beautiful, undeveloped, and easy to do in a full day port call.

We went to Lindos which is beautiful. The walled city of Rhodes is also very impressive.

This was my favorite place during the cruise. The scenery as we went to the Acropolis were fantastic. Our tour guide was the best, he knew the history, important facts and information that made our excursion worth the money. I would come back to Rhodes for another vacation.

Old city was interesting as a historical site, but its really nothing that spectacular. Outside of city had some nice beaches and coastal views

Old walled city is cool. Definitely visit Lindos too - there's a public bus but have to go outside the walled city to find it.
