The old city is large and busy. Shopping is plentiful. The walls and old castle are beautiful.

Beuatiful island. The tour was excellent. The hotel restaurant was excellent. The old walled city was clean and shopping was very good.

In my mind I expected the island to be full of ancient ruins. However, the city is surrounded by medieval walls and forts. We spent a couple of hours wandering through the tiny cobblestone streets looking at various items for sale.

Great shopping city, easy to tour on your own. Restaurants and tons of shops are an easy walk from the port. The historical sites were interesting as well.
