Ephesus was the site to see. be sure you book a tour that allows you time to wander on your own. otherwise you are just rushed thru and around major sites. take time to walk around the market streets of kusadasi

The jewelry shop and the leather shop owners are very good in convincing us to buy there product. I ended up spending more than $10,000 and did not have time to see anything.

we did not go the ruins, but did walk around the city and the pigeon fort. If we had time, I would have gotten a turkish bath.

We didnt' really stay in Kusadasi. We went to the archealogical sites of Ephesus, Didyma, and Miletus which we enjoyed very much. We did find a Starbucks near the pier which was a nice taste of home. The Turkish apple tea is delicious. Try to avoid the sales pitches for the Turkish rugs unless you are serious about buying one. They are gorgeous, but expensive.
