Wasn’t crazy over the walking culinary excursion it was not worth the money paid. Been there before and visited the forts which was great to see.

We had never been to Puerto Rico, so booked a flight early morning on the day before so had all that day and most of the next day before embarkation. We stayed at '352 Guest House' which is an 8-room boutique hotel/B&B in Old San Juan. It's in an 18th Century building and owned by a wonderful family. Great food and terrific view out balcony of historic Old San Juan street. While in Puerto Rico, we ate, drank, shopped, and walked every bit of Old San Juan. Beautiful and historic area.

We love San Juan and have a few places that we go. We stumbled upon a tchotchke place that I fell in love with and we go there each time. It's near the ship. We also go to Barrachina every time we are here. It is the birthplace of the Pina Colada. At first we just went there for that but now we also eat there too.

We decided to walk around Old San Juan on our own, using a travel guide. There were a lot of fascinating statues and buildings to check out. Our favorite was Castillo San Felipe de Morro. The fort is very interesting, and the views are awesome. Everything surrounding it was worth checking out as well. We had lunch at Sanse Tapas Bar, which was a great find, as the food was delicious, and a relaxing spot to get out of the heat for a bit.

Old San Juan is beautiful. We walked to the umbrellas, had rolled ice cream, and did some shopping. Almost everything is on Fortaleza street.
