We were not happy with the bus ride to the beach on our excursion. The ride was a long dusty ride on a dirt road in an open air bus.

Went on the Puerto Plata City Explorer excursion. Be prepared for a lot of history on this excursion.

Loved the actually port inside fenced area, sales people are way too high pressure.. The excursion in port to do downtown was horrible!!!!! I would not recommend and actually was thinking about calling credit card company due to how bad and over priced it was.

We only went to the port area, but we were underwhelmed. If you are a pool person that did look fun though.
