Beautiful. No excursions

We normally just hang out by pool when visiting Taino Bay, but this time we talked to a taxi driver and paid for him to drive us around. We also brought a few bottles of Macroix rum. We had a great time.

Loved it, including the food. Went to a restaurant in the middle of the port and the service was fantastic as well of food and drinks. ( Por Taino Bay )

Took excursion with cruise line the worst beach filthy. Stay in the port that area it's great no need to do any excursion.

No excursion is needed. The beach is walking distance and the Umbrella and Pink Streets are all short walking distance.

I had no idea this port would be so fun! There is shopping and drinking if you want that but there is also a lazy river and lots of pools to hang out in - all free. We checked out the place without bringing our swimwear and had to go back to get it! So bring your swimsuits and have fun! We also got to sample different chocolates, cocoa beans, hot chocolate and chocolate tea at the one store. SO fun!

Crazy driving here but it is what it is. We did the Puerto Plata Culture, History and Heritage tour through NCL. It was interesting seeing the area. The rum factory tour was good (and tasting too!!) My favorite was umbrella street !

We live Taino Bay. Been here several times. The pool, lazy river, bar and music are all fantastic. The shops and port area are so nice. The Dominican Republic did a fantastic job with this port.

Was not impressed with the all inclusive resort excursion. The beach was full of seaweed so we couldn’t swim in it, several people were constantly approaching us to sell things, the food was average and the drinks were limited. Definitely not what I expected!
