The water in Half Moon Cay is so clear and bright blue. The sand feels like flour and the island is very maintained. We didn’t do an excursion because we had so much fun hanging out at the beach with the DJ and watching the competitions on the beach! But they do have water bikes, kayaks, horses to ride, etc.

I have visited hundreds of beaches on most continents. This ranks at near the top of the list for best beaches in the world. The water was super clear, the sand felt like flour or powdered sugar. The beach area even had a snorkeling area with tons of fish. In addition, Carnival gives you a great buffet BBQ. If you like quiet stay immediately at the beach near the debarkation. If you prefer a more fun area get on the courtesy shuttle and get off at the BBQ area and find the Captain Morgan which is a bar shaped like a ship. They also have a DJ and some of the crew hang out and play games there. DO NOT MISS THIS PORT. It's the best of the three.

half moon cay is a must visit. The beach was incredible. The sand was soft and clean. The water was crystal clear and smooth. The bbq was delicious. The entire experience was great.

This place is by far our favorite cruise stop. Am I the only one who thinks how great it would be if Carnival offered a cruise that solely went to HMC? Go straight there, drop anchor, stay for a few days and then go home. Enjoy the beach all day and go back to the ship each night. That would probably be the only cruise I would ever take.

If we could give this port 10 stars we would. The sign says it all "I wish I could stay here forever." I've never experience a beach so beautiful in my life. White powdery sand, clear calm blue water. Pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend this private island.

Great port if you want a free beach day. You can get off the ship and not spend a single penny on the island if you didn't want to. We rented a clamshell for the day and loved it. Definitely worth every penny (and it wasn't expensive) to have a place to escape the sun and hang out in the shade. The free lunch was good, the shipwreck bar was neat and a great spot for photos. All in all a wonderful day on a beautiful island.

By far my favorite place. The beach and water was absolutely the most beautiful I have seen. No need to do any excursions here the beach itself was all you need
