The Giving Back excursion was terrific and well worth the money. Girls sang us songs, one little girl clinged to my wife, thought we might have to adopt her. The tour took us through a "nice" neighborhood and then through a poor area. Gave us a chance to see both. The included lunch was great and the tour of the City Hall and Church were good. Pablo was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable. My in-laws were with us, so I can recommend for people with slow mobility.

Really loved this port. Pool is nice and food is good. Lot's to do right by the ship. Will definitely be going back to Amber Cove someday day very soon.

Our favorite stop on our Cruise! We did the best city tour through iguana Mama tours. It was absolutely amazing. They're guide was so knowledgeable and took such good care of us and made the most of our time in Port. I look forward to coming here again

We did a city tour. Interesting to see the town and locals. I always enjoy seeing new places, but did get a little bored at the museum. Water in the area had lots of garbage. I have no desire to return.

Sailing into port is amazing. So green and lush. Wow, Jurassic Park was inspired by this island for filming. I was not looking forward to this island being added due to itinerary changes because of September hurricane. It ended up being my favorite port. Booked an onshore excursion at the port, last minute after debarking. Originally planned to stay on ship. Went to an all inclusive resort, 5 min on bus. Paid around $69.00 each. Beautiful grounds once inside resort. Found a spot on the beach, grabbed a few cocktails-included-went to a fabulous lunch inside dining room, a few more cocktails (all inclusive remember) went and did a little shopping- it has its own/safe marketplace with around 15 stores that’s sells artwork/trinkets ,cigars. Yes, very polite but aggressive sales people. Then went back to beach and had a real coconut with rum poured inside. Included in price. Adult kids went on a different excursion. Snorkel diving in the reef. 45 drive through rough roads. Daughter said it was a culture shock. She saw people sitting outside stores with rifles. She had fun but was glad once she got back inside the port gates.

We went to the RIU Resort. My husband and I enjoyed it. As one who is not a big drinker and drinks mostly sodas, they had this fruit punch that was awesome. I shocked my husband on that excursion cause I kept back for the fruit punch instead of soda. My husband asked about it and it turns out it is made exclusively for RIU.

Just a pool day and shopping. It was ok not my favorite port. Wished I would’ve done an excursion but I’ll know next time!! If you enjoy hanging around the pool you’ll like this one.
