Jamaica was awful. It was dirty and scary. The locals touch all over you and put things on you without permission and then say you owe them money for it

We booked a taxi for a long trip around the island. Wonderful man and extremely clean car. Certainly an "off the beaten path" experience. Paid $160 including tip for both of us. Best experience of the entire trip.

Jamaica and it's people are truly amazing! The port experience is as special as you will see in an arguably 2nd world country. You can get all of the souvenirs and tastes of Jamaica without leaving the port (although I recommend going further). The people in the terminal are helpful getting you where you need to go.

We were accosted by locals offering us drugs upon arrival at the Doctors Cave Beach. Beggars at every turn. You may want to remove this excursion as it did not give Carnival a good name as facilitating this excursion. I would never want to return to Jamaica ever again due to this one trip.

Montego Bay, Jamaica was our least favorite place to go. We booked a large van with a "tour guide" who drove us around the island a little bit and took us to a place to shop and then to the beach. Even so, it didn't feel like there was much to do in Jamaica that felt safe and the fact that we had to pay to get into the beach was a little surprising. I definitely wouldn't have felt comfortable exploring the island on our own.

Check out Doctors Cove, its a gorgeous beach. I recommend booking a parasailing adventure, it was loads of fun!

Couldn't walk a couple of feet before the vendors were trying to sell you something or a taxi ride no chance to just shop around and look at the stores.

We have stopped in Montego Bay for the day and absolutely loved it. We wanted to avoid crowds of tourists (there were 3 ships on our arrival day) and see Real Jamaica. We have used someone's recommendation and contacted Love Travel Jamaica www.lovetraveljamaica.com. Best experience ever.

Did an excursion through Carnival. The Dunn river falls was great, but it required a 2 hour drive each way to get there. The drive was fine, and the falls were worth it, but I may opt for a closer excursion next time.
