We went to Doctors Cave beach. While the sun was NOT in full bloom, there were plenty of beach goer's Everyone there was nice and hospitable. Even the ones offering your things you don't need or want. If you bring your snorkel gear, you can swim out a little ways and do you own private snorkeling. I went out and had a rather nice time and almost no one swam out that far. Overall, it was a bit more crowded than I expected but was still a nice place to go hang out on the beach for a few hours.

Island was beautiful. No excursion. Just caught a cab for tour shopping and the beach. I did do water rides there. Son rode jet skis. My daughter and I rode the bumper seat pulled by the jet ski. It was amazing after I threw up everywhere. Do not did and ride this after you drink.

We did the Jamaican bobsled, canopy tour and Dunn's River falls through Carnival. It was awesome and we had so much fun learning about Jamaica from our tour guide. We were 20 minutes late getting back but the ship.was waiting and waited 30 more minutes for other tour groups to get back.

A number of people told us not to even get off the boat but I am glad we did. People are friendly but everyone is looking for a buck. Probably the most pushy place I have been. Snorkeling was surprisingly good at Doctors Cave beach. Visibility was not the best and the beach was crowded but saw a number of fish and rays out by the buoys. Jimmy Buffet’s was fun until it got too rowdy for our family. The slide and floating toys there were a blast. Lunch was good. Traffic was crazy. I wouldn’t wander too far off the beaten path. Vendors seemed the most willing to deal and had some nice crafts. I would love to explore more with a trusted guide.

Stay away from Straw market. Extremely pushy people.

Jamaica is beautiful! Be very careful at this port even in excursions. We did one through carnival and did not go well. Carnival needs to check more into who they are sending us off with.
