We love Aruba. It was extraordinarily hot and humid (October), but the beach and ocean temperatures were fantastic. Aruba tends to be expensive so be prepared for that. Very safe and friendly people.

This is a small island. We took a 15 minutes can ride to the airport (21 dollars) and rented a car for the day. We visited a few beaches...Baby Beach at the southern tip of the island, had lunch at Zeerovers on way back and highly recommended for cheap fresh seafood of the day fare (lunch for 4 was 45 with more than plenty of food), then we headed off to visit the Lighthouse at the northern tip and hit Palm and Eagle beaches. The beaches on Aruba are beautiful and water is warm and clear. Renting a car was the cheapest option than taking an excursion and the island has only 1 main road where you can't get lost. Very manageable. We considered renting a car near the ship but their return time was 4pm for the same price at the airport which offered a return time of 8pm. The airport is really close to the port by car.

The one happy island made us happy too! We did the trikes excursion and had a blast! Great way to see the island and so much fun to drive! It’s worth the $190.

I love Aruba 🇦🇼 we shopped in the morning and I found the cutest jacket, magnet, T-shirt. Then we went to the beach, which was really, really windy. The water was cold there too, but the beautiful blue!!

This the island to do parasailing and jet skis, only between $40-50 and very good companies, Moomba beach is our favorite, but you will pay for your chairs and umbrellas. The earlier you get there the cheaper they are!

There were taxis available outside the port, as well as a free trolley that runs roughly every 30mins. We visited Eagle Beach, which was a 10minute drive from the port, costing us $13. Breathtaking beach.
