Aruba is stunning, the ship is docked very close to the town center and was docked in port two days, giving us the opportunity to discover by foot and take a cab to a local beach and soak up the sun and white sands.

2nd time to take independent excursion bus at pier. Lots of fun with mulitple stops. At the end you can choose from 3 beaches or go back to the ship. If you go to the beach, the bus comes back 3 hours later.

We did the beach and island tour and rode in an open bus. Our tour guide knew how to generate fun and we all had a blast. I highly recommend it.

We loved Aruba! We thought we would be smart and buy city bus passes for $5/each (there were 4 of us) and go to Eagle Beach. The beach was fantastic. Since we saved money not buying an excursion, we rented chairs and an umbrella for $40 for the day. It was great. We got a bucket of beer. Try the local one. It was a great day. Our only issue was getting back to the ship. We missed the bus back and kept waiting for another one when we finally gave up and shared a taxi with another couple for only $12 for all of us. Ugh. We should have just done that in the first place! All in all though, my fav day.
