Desolate. I did not take one of those open air buses with sweaty people. Gross. LOL.... A local who is licensed offered a tour for 5 people for $25. Air-conditioned mini van. His name is Willie. Well worth it for $25 and two hours.

This was such a beautiful country. It was super windy though! We did a cool tour around the city and got to see almost the whole island from a giant cliff and the lighthouse was cool. I don’t remember the name of the excursion but do know Corinthian was a great tour guide. Very informative and fun.

Busy port and plenty of shopping but nothing out of the ordinary. I did not do an excursion because I have been to Aruba numerous times.

So much to do on Aruba. Cant go wrong with this port. First time ever returning to ship to have a line to reboard that long. This was not Aruba's fault but Carnivals. Only had one set of entry point on to ship open. Line was 500 plus deep and slow to move if at all. 90 degree temps and standing on concrete...Medical issues . A fellow passenger passed out and had a seizure .We assisted carrying him onboard to nurses' station. Carnival must improve this problem. Nasty crew member decided to call me a liar while waiting in line here. Carnival should fire her immediately. A small attempt of an apology after we assisted carrying fellow passenger aboard but totally unacceptable for any crew member or crew entertainment to speak to guests in that manner.

The ship docks in town so we just walked around since we had been there previously & had taken tours & went to the beach. Couldn't pass up the local beer since it was a hot day.

I did a small excursion with local tour but on another occasion I would go on my own. I loved that the ship stayed until 10:00 PM.

Did the Atlantis submarine. Really enjoyed this one. This is well worth the money for all ages. Weather was windy the day we went so water not as clear as it could have been. Still really enjoyed this one. Tip: book early
