We always take the city bus down to Eagle Beach and enjoy the day. Restaurants and bars on site. absolutely Breathtaking Beach. Chairs and umbrella rentals available also. Can't go wrong for a $4.00 round trip bus ride 😊⛱️

Horseback riding on the beach was amazing! Took us through town on back road, to a gold mine and rode horses on the beach.

we did resort for a day Riu got to enjoy the beach, drinks and the restaurant had the best food.

We rented a car and drove to Baby Beach, very nice and relaxing. An easy and calm beach, nice for kids. With a car we were able to stop at other places along the way like a local grocery store.

We rented a jeep from right near the port and toured the island. This allowed us to see a lot of the island, eat at local restaurants, and snorkel at several of the beaches. We were very happy with our choice.

Eagle Beach...hands down! Take a taxi/uber there and enjoy as long as you can before heading back to the ship. Totally worth it!

I agree with CoastalCruisers. We also rented a car and went to Baby Beach and California Lighthouse.

Take the public bus to Divi Beach, it will cost about 4 or 5 dollars to get there. The beach is public, when we went in April of 24 there was hardly anyone there. We rented 2 beach loungers fo $20. Walked to the restaurant about 100 yards from where our chairs were and had lunch!

A few years ago, we took a taxi sitting right by ship and asked how much to tour us around to get us back to ship at such a time. It was the best time ever as he narrated, took us past his home, kid's school, and all the sights the bus did but skipped what we didn't want. Took us to good shops. I guess this is still safe to do.
