Small but beautiful. My wife and I had a certified dive excursion. "Buddy Dive" was excellent. We will also investigate going back to Bonaire and Buddy Dive's resort. I recommend this excursion for certified divers.

I enjoyed the earthy feel of Bonaire. It's dry and full of deserts 🌵 but nice and less commercial than many other islands. We took a cruise line excursion tour (Best of Bonaire), which we felt was a mistake. We took this excursion because we wanted to see flamingos but barely got to see any. If we ever go back we'll either do water sports or a tour with a local company.

Not much shopping. went to the beach, wasn't easy to get into the water with all the rocks, but once inside was nice.

Our Excursion was excellent, not much to see in the immediate port area, however make sure to take a trip to see the caves, flamingos and salt flats. OH, do go find some gelato in town. There are several good locations.
