This was our first visit to Bonaire. We went on the Woodwind snorkeling excursion (booked privately not through Celebrity). The snorkeling was excellent. The administrative details and customer service at check in were definitely lacking. The original email that I had printed when I made the reservation listed the wrong time. When I showed it to the man who finally showed up (we were an hour early due to the incorrect time on the email), he blamed me for making my reservation so far in advance. I booked in July for a January cruise. So, definitely not a good start or a good first impression at all.

I wish I was a snorkeler/diver to take advantage of the reefs on this island. As it was we had a pleasant day exploring the mangroves by boat.

I liked Bonaire. It is beautiful. But we did a land tour and there just is not a ton of things to see on land. This is a port best enjoyed in the water (snorkeling, parasailing, etc.).
