About Curacao

The ship passes through a channel in the reef, into a broad, perfectly protected natural harbor. This is Willemstad, where Dutch gingerbread houses, superb shopping, excellent restaurants and bustling casinos abound. Nature buffs will love the exotic plants and tropical birdlife of Christoffel National Park. And don't forget to sample the famous Curacao liqueur, still made here.

Fantastic port! Our favourite! We enjoyed the free wifi and cheap beers right at the port bar in the evening. We took a 2 hour island tour in an open air coloured school bus through Ben Tours. The cost was $20 per person and included open bar and wifi. Well worth the money, the tour was fantastic! Curacao is defiantly worth a vacation on its own

This place is BEAUTIFUL!!!! We just walked around and went shopping, but the people are so friendly and the scenery doesn’t do the photos justice!!! We are going back next year and will probably book an excursion because we want to explore this beautiful place more!!!

There are two main docking areas. If you are lucky you can enjoy a dramatic sail in/sail away as the ship encounters the narrowest and prettiest of harbour entrances; allowing you to converse with onlookers shoreside with the greatest of ease. Otherwise, you park-up at a more utilitarian pier just outside Willemstad's walled centre. The city is small but perfectly formed with the entry over the floating bridge an obvious highlight. Beaches within fifteen minutes of the pier side. Willemstad, Curacao is colourful, vibrant and very Dutch.

This port ranked right up with Grand Turk as one of my favorites. We did the Resort for a Day package at the Hilton. First time using them and would do it again. The hotel's beach and views were beautiful. Blue blue waters.
